Faces Places

The two authors decide to travel through rural France aboard JR's photo van, which allows for instance very large-format printing. As they meet people, they cover the places they visit with giant photos of the people they meet, pasted on the walls of their homes. They travel through different regions of France, marked by rurality and deindustrialization, including Bonnieux (Vaucluse), Le Havre, and Reillanne (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence).
